I Suddenly get an Error I never got before :S (JA: Corrupt Zone Header)

everything went fine until today, i wanted to run jedi academy single player, but when the cnsole type thing opens the actual game it closes it immediately again and gives the error

 

Z_Free(): Corrupt zone header!

 

i tried reinstalling it and removing my jaconfig file but no difference. sometimes i get a different error about it not being able to load a certain shader... i would post the exact error message for the shader error but i'm unable to duplicate it, i only get the corrupt zone header error at the moment.

 

can anyone help me please? much thanks and praise and kisses.

oh. never mind... i reinstalled it to a different location and now it works.. strange. i'll move all my additional save games and pk3s etc one by one to see what caused the problem.

What has happened is you have too many downloaded files in your base folder, and re-installing it to a different location has cleared it.

 

In future, you can always copy your GameData folder and use the jasp.exe located in it to run Single Player.

Do you have any of the Omni_crypt maps?

 

Because one of them maps caused the same error for me.

i HAVE A PROBLEM AT THE CENTER OF THE REACTOR CORE AT THE BAST CASTLE, WHEN IT COMES DOWN IT IS SUPPOSED TO CONTINUE BUT IT SENDS ME A NO SPAWN ENTITIES ERROR, CAN SOME ONE SEND ME AN INITIATED MISSION AND I CONTINUE FROM THIS? ANSWER ME IF THIS CAN BE DONE. CESAR

Copy your saved games to another folder, uninstall, reinstall, update to the 1.01 patch, restore your saved games.

i don-t think this will be the solution, i will did it at home. but do you know someone can send me the game saved after the area of my error? please?do you? or there is a site with files like that or a mod o pass to the next level or part of mission or control point ??
