seniorfrito
Alright I'm sure many have had this error before, and I know that people have posted about this error before. But, the advice people gave was not good at all. I know it wasn't good because it didn't work. So all I'm asking is that someone please, please, help me out. I am lost without my game. I need my game. I'm nothing without it. Ok, I'm currently on a Windows 2000 system. I was on a Windows XP, but I'm away from it at the moment and probably won't use that computer anymore. I need to know how to get around it. I don't really know anything at all about it. The following is what my console spits out to me: JAmp: v1.0.1.0 win-x86 Oct 24 2003 ----- FS_Startup ----- Current search path: C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\{DD}FEARED ASSASIN.pk3 (60 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\the_academy.pk3 (37 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\stap_mst_10.pk3 (8 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\speeder_bike_mst_10.pk3 (18 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\sithspeeder_mst_10.pk3 (18 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\siege_destroyer.pk3 (115 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\sb-bikes.pk3 (7 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\sabers.pk3 (64 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\P-Hilt_Pack.pk3 (32 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\ORK Special Edition N2.pk3 (41 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\ojp_vehicles_002.pk3 (27 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\OJP_droideka_06.pk3 (45 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\naboohills2.pk3 (29 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\my_skins.pk3 (82 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\maulspeeder.pk3 (17 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\hailfire_droid06.pk3 (37 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\gunshipVM.pk3 (33 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\dragon10.pk3 (160 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\Dath Kraken ninja style.pk3 (16 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\Dark Destroyers map.pk3 (15 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\Council-Castle-3.pk3 (44 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\assets3.pk3 (16 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\assets2.pk3 (62 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\assets1.pk3 (8320 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base\assets0.pk3 (15346 files) C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData/base ---------------------- 24649 files in pk3 files execing mpdefault.cfg couldn't exec autoexec.cfg ...detecting CPU, found AMD w/ 3DNow! ------- Input Initialization ------- Skipping check for DirectInput Joystick is not active. ------------------------------------ ...initializing QGL succeeded ...setting mode 4: 800 600 FS ...using desktop display depth of 16 ...calling CDS: ok ...created window@0,0 (800x600) Initializing OpenGL driver ...getting DC: succeeded ...GLW_ChoosePFD( 16, 16, 0 ) ...23 PFDs found ...GLW_ChoosePFD failed ...GLW_ChoosePFD( 16, 16, 0 ) ...23 PFDs found ...GLW_ChoosePFD failed ...failed to find an appropriate PIXELFORMAT ...restoring display settings ...WARNING: could not set the given mode (4) ...setting mode 3: 640 480 FS ...using colorsbits of 16 ...calling CDS: ok ...created window@0,0 (640x480) Initializing OpenGL driver ...getting DC: succeeded ...GLW_ChoosePFD( 16, 16, 0 ) ...23 PFDs found ...GLW_ChoosePFD failed ...GLW_ChoosePFD( 16, 16, 0 ) ...23 PFDs found ...GLW_ChoosePFD failed ...failed to find an appropriate PIXELFORMAT ...restoring display settings ...WARNING: could not set the given mode (3) GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem Now I currently have the same copy of my game installed on another computer, and I have installed this same copy on another computer, but I'm not using the the first computer. May that have anything at all to do with it? I'm thinking it doesn't but I thought I might just ask. Well please help me if you can. Thank you. TK-8252
Do you have an OpenGL-compatable video card? If you have, say, a Voodoo video card, you'll need to buy an OpenGL-compatable video card. Happened to me too. Really disappointing.
seniorfrito
I understand that, but do you know where I can find things. I think you can download them can't you? I don't think you have to buy things in order to update them. At least that's how most software updates are. Please let me know. I miss playing JA. I was supposed to be making a server as soon as I started using this other computer. The one that I was working on was in another country and it was behind a firewall that wouldn't let me do servers. Now that I'm on a computer that will allow me to set up a server, the game won't even work. I was really disappointed.

All you need is a enough powerfull video card to try the games correctly, i have learn this with my savage 4 agp 16mb videocard , it runs but not the correct way, now with the nvidia geforce4 64mb. now it flies.
