VampireNaomi
The mail brought my Sam&Max/DOTT pack today, but I can't get it work. It seems that it needs to be run in MS-DOS, and since I have Windows XP things are a bit difficult. I was able to get in MS-DOS, but even if I follow the readme.txt instructions none of the commands work. I can't even make a boot disk. DOTT doesn't work at all, but Sam&Max works with no sound and music. I refuse to play it like that though. The worst thing is that I spent all of my extra money on this crap. EDIT: Ah, maybe ScummVM can help me? EDIT EDIT: Whoo! ScummVM saved my butt! Now I only need to decide which I want to play first. I couldn't possibly be any happier! Dawidos
I'm so sorry . But it's typical. Old games don't run at the newest operating system. Maybe somebody will help you, I want but I can't. All I can do it's saying : I'm sorry
VampireNaomi
No need to! ScummVM made both games run properly and Maniac Mansion works now as well! I have three adventure games just waiting for me to play them!
James Isaac
Yeah, ScummVM is extremely useful. I wasn't able to get Full Throttle working properly when i first got it, which was really annoying me. So, i asked on these forums, and someone told me about ScummVM. And when i used it to play Full Throttle, it worked perfectly . It's a life saver
