PrtyLizardJedi
Hello everybody. I came across some problems, and I hope you can help, whoever you are. . . Retexturing Problem When I retexture, say, Malak's armor blue (In my Lightside Malak skin), there's still a touch of the original color there. I can always coat it with another layer, but the color was still there, and the next layer obsucred the details. Compare the following to pictures of my Malak and Seprithro's Malak and you see the difference: Seprihtro's body is far more better compared to mine, and I mean that the original color doesn't show a bit. I ask thou, what should I do. Please answer. . . Item Creation Problem I found the items. I opened the item. BUT. I did not manage to alter the certain fields, including the item name and description. How do I do this? Or what am I doing wrong?
Ajunta Pall
I honestly see no difference except colours and accessories. Seriously, I don't. I think it'd be a good idea to put the armour from Sep's Malak onto the Good Malak... with his permission, of course . Hope you take this into account, Prty . PrtyLizardJedi
You misunderstand. Sep's Malak there is just an example. And look closely and you see a twinge of red in my skin
Ajunta Pall
Only a little, but it looks more grey than red. And I still think the armour thing's a good idea, even if Sep's Malak IS purely an example . P.S Even if I find that twinge in the game, I'll completely disregard it as I play. After all, I highly regard you as an almighty (and don't fight back, because it'll stay that way .)
Jackel
using the gff editor here to change the item name and descript you need to open the item and find the LocalisedName DescIdentified pieces , youll see a piece with "Language ID" change that to 0 (zero) and hit enter , you can now type in the box below that once you have the words set right , click anywhere away from the words and they should stay there
PrtyLizardJedi
I'm using the Bioware's edited GFF Editor by Roboius, and I didn't see any such options.

Prime
If you are just recolouring the texture, remove the colour (so that it is grey) from the parts you want to change. Then from that make it the colour you want. This will remove any hint of the previous colour...
