theredrodian
hi everyone, i've seen you all talking about using photoshop, and there have been tutorials on using photoshop for textures, but is paintshop pro any good for retexturing? and if so, could someone make a tutorial for it? i'm hopeless with paintshop pro 8 >_< it's about 50 times more complex than 7 was... anyway, thanks in advance for any replies. RedHawke
I use Paint Shop Pro 6. It does have a nasty habit of crashing on me at times in Win XP Pro.

messkell
I use Paintshop Pro 7 for the primary skinning, and Photoshop 7.0 for channels, effects, and layers.
Achilles
I'm with therodian on this one. I recently download the trial version of Paint Shop Pro 8.1 because Prime recommended it. I'm sure that if I play around with it long enough I will be able to find all the tools that I need, but a "making a new skin" tutorial for use n00bs sure would help. I know what a pain tutorial writing can be (part of my job), so I'd like to thank whomever is willing to help in advance.
