I suggest you to take the iniciative and go search with google for how tos or tutorials. If you wanna just wait for someone to come up and write a tutorial just for you, you're gonna die or boredom. Good luck.

I would suggest that you import the model of the gun into 3ds Max and then make your gun to be like that, don't change the folders, like /weapons/<yourgun> leave it as how it is or it won't work. Download some of the new weapons stuff from pcgamemods or jk2files.com and see how they did it.
