Strange crash with JA in SP

Basically fine (game 100% smooth, no sound, graphics or gameplay bugs) until I go to load the first mission after the academy (Hoth or something). Loading freezes and then crashes to desktop.

 

BUT! I got an error message (a decent one at that).
