Anyhow, at the end of Ep2, there are big "star destroyers" taking off, are these in Ep3, and if so, why did Lucas abandon his original designs when he made the original trilogy? Open for discussion

Just compare clones to stormies. AT-TE to AT-AT Etc...

For instance, in Ep1, why do pitiful primative Gungans have those special shields, and the empire isn't using them later...

Exept Jar Jar, since he was on Coruscant, but i bet he's too stupid to spell 'intelligent' , so... Ah yes, episode three will lead up to a lot of interesting EU stories.

You'll remember that on Hoth the alliance had a shield generator that prevented the Empire from decimating Echo base from orbit, they had to bring in the walkers on the ground to do the dirty work.
