Jedi_Vogel
Oh my giddy aunt... "Viewers will be happy with lighter shades of black, once we explain it's for their own good that we are keeping them in the dark." You can convince yourself of almost anything if you really really want... Someone stop the world, I wanna get off...

Sabretooth
Burn down all TVs and perform voodoo curses on them, then throw them into the ocean as sacrifices. I mean, I thought Zimbabwe was a colourful nation...
Zanatio
It could be that the writer meant the article to be incredibly ironic to show just how bad and ridiculous the situation in Zimbabwe is. Look, I agree with Robert Mugabe's idea that the land belongs to the black people. After all, they were there first, and the white colonists simply came in, kicked the blacks out and claimed the land for themselves. However, Rob is definitely going too far in the other direction with the way he's acting.
Sabretooth
Know what? I'm thinking this is all a hoax. I'll research on the net... EDIT: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/3893939.stm
Zanatio
Yep, I think my previous idea about the reporter using extreme irony to get a point across was right. I did a search for him on the Cape Times website and found several other articles by him, all under opinion columns, that all sound as far-fetched and full of irony and sarcasm as his Zimbabwe article. No doubt his articles are written in such a way as to provoke discussion and debate, and he's certainly succeeded!
Alegis
You all should be ashamed of yourselves (except sabre/zanatio) for being such naive fools... move along, move along
