MrFlibble
Hi all, I'm in Australia and going to get Battlefront. There is a British website I can get the game $20 off the game and thinking of buying it through them. The only concern I have is the server availability as I haven't played any Lucasarts games on PS2 online before. Some games (released by SCEE) have local hosting, meaning you MUST buy them from the country you're in to play the game on the local servers, otherwise you will be sent around the world. Other games such as Ubi.com have gone the PC route and done P2P connectivity with world wide game play. So the question is, will this one be like Ubi or like SCEE with how it's hosted? If it's international hosted I can import the game, if it's local I can't.

THE BADGER:
It depends on the game. SOCOM 2 has universes, i.e. North America, Asia, so I'm not sure what this game will be. SOCOM 1 had servers for different countries as well. If I was you I would e-mail Lucasarts or Pendemic and ask before you buy the game.
