Cerem Darksaber
But wouldn't it be great if all the modders here got together and combined their common files (Like upcrystals or upspells...things that are changed on most every mod) into one file, and if osmeone made something new, they just added it to THAT file, that way ppl could use mods involving lightsabres without having to only be able to use one at a time. Which does, btw, suck.
Mav
Well as far as the upcrystals.2da file goes, the one packed with my new module, is compatible with the following: All of my sabers Achillies Jedi Council Sabers RedHawkes Sabers as well as RedHawke's Recruit Mod Holowan Plug-in v2 All of Sep's sabers since they are non-upgradeable and several more

Which does, btw, suck. you mean like an ULTIMATE HOLOWAN MOD? theres a Holowan Plugin, but you probably knew about that, if not here it is: http://www.pcgamemods.com/5609 if you meant something like this, and the Modders did actually do this, it would take a conciderable amount of time, but ........ as a leaving gift to Knights of the Old Republic i think it would be a GREAT thing, but it all depends on the availablity and time of the Modders, some may not want there mods in a ' pack ' whereas others would love the idea of there work in a mod pack MattCole PS i think you may have stumbled apon sommit grand
stingerhs
good idea, but wouldn't it be easier for everyone to just update their own upcrystals.2da file?? it works great for me, and my list of sabers would be too long to list.
Mav
Well since T7 made the plug-in and the upcrystals.2da that comes with my newest mod comes packed with a .2da that is compatible with the plug-in I would assume that those sabers you mentioned are in there. The problem with an all inclusive non-conflicting .2da file is that many people have items that they use just for personal use and that would add useless lines. Cerem Darksaber
It's similar but what I mean is like...a single 2da file that they simply update, the exact same file, they just DL it, update it, then upload it once again. That way all of the mods made are compatible with each other, and there's no complication.
stingerhs
well, i just have one updated upcrystals.2da file in my override folder, and i just use the kotor tool to update it whenever i get a new saber. i course, i keep the other ones updated as well. just make sure that if you dl a new saber that you check the 2da file for the new crystal and copy that line over to your existing upcrystals file in your override folder. then unzip everything but the upcrystals.2da to your override. works everytime, and it only takes a couple of miniutes. of course, if its a new armor or a pc/npc reskin, you would update the appearance.2da file.
