JBeannie
Use the kotor tool, and click the BIF file, than click the script, changed file, and than double-click on the K_pdan_jedi032.nss. And when you read it, change the true text to false, and than save as anything, and than save it on your desktop, and than drag that file into your override, and now when you go to dantoine as a jedi, you'll be able to go to your ship, instead of that girl congradulating you several times. I thought this was cool, i hope you do too.
Darth333
Huh? Editing global booleans without knowing where it leads can be risky and you could run into a dead end later in the game. I haven't really checked but from what i can see, the script ensures that the conversation is repeated only once....btw, where is this script attached? Other thing, placing a .nss file into your overide folder wont have any effect unless it is compiled (.ncs file).
JBeannie
By using the kotor tool, you click on BIFs, and than click script, source, and than double-click K_pan_jedi032.nss. But your right i made an error you have to find it in script, source and than the rest of what i said
Darth333
That is not what i mean: i know where to find it. What i was asking is to what dialog, trigger or else is this sript attached? Other thing: placing a .nss file (source code) in your override folder will have no effect at all unless you compile it (.ncs file).
JBeannie
did you double-click K_pan_jedi032.nss. and than edit the text where it says false to True and than save it on to your desktop and than drag the save on your desktop to the override? JBeannie
when you accomplish what i've told you after the jedi counsel say that they need a word in privat you'll end up in a room that what let you out, don't worry i have a solution for this, but before you let yourself out of the room look at the room it is a totally new part of kotor, anyways now to help you get out of this room. type in the cheat consule warp danm13

JBeannie
when you go to dantoine as a jedi, does the girl recognize you as a paddawan?

What I am saying is that editng a .nss file such as K_pan_jedi032.nss and dragging it to your override folder won't do anything unless you compile the script (the .nss file) with hazardz script compiler. If you compile it, you will get a file named: K_pan_jedi032.ncs . This is the only file that will affect the game. Putting a .nss file in the override folder won't have any effect on the game. This script checks if you have become a padawan or not. It doens't change the fact whether ot not you can go back to the Ebon Hawk??? That is why I was asking you where is this script attached? Is it attached to a dialog, a trigger, a door, etc...? In order to be fired by the game, it has to be attached somewhere...
JBeannie
it seems that i didn't change anything with the girl talking, that was some update fix thing, but i did make it so when the counsil says we need time or whatever make it so that the game sends you into a room, until you type in the cheat consule warp danm13, that's a bummer. Darth333
Can you post a screenshot please? This cannot be caused by a .nss file. Maybe it's another mod or a glitch.

Huh??? How were you trying to do that? No matter, I think I get the picture. How to take screenshots: First, you have to enable screenshots. Open the swkotor.ini file in your Kotor directory and under the [Game Options] section, change the entry "EnableScreenShot=0", to "EnableScreenShot=1" (without quotes). After this when you want to take a screenshot, just press your Print Screen key on your keyboard and paste to a proper application. (You will also have a .tga in your swkotor directory) You could also use Reclip which allows you to take approximately 200 screenshots : http://www.brothersoft.com/Reclip_Download_3458.html * you don't need a real camera to do this...*
