Graveyard_Zero
Hey, Im trying to make it so Jolee's default clothing is an equpable robe. But every time i try to get into the bif editor in kotor tools the program stops working, and give me an error message "an unhandled exception has occured in your aplication. If you clikc continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click quit the application will be shut down immediatley Index was outside the bounds of the array." and when i click the continue button the only thing that works is the drop down menu, Do i need the biffs to actual make the file into a robe, is it even posable, or am i just being dumb some where? it is rather annoying not knowing, so if some one could help that would be awsome! Achilles
Have you seen this ? The error you're describing most often occurs when you're trying to open a .ut(x) file with an upsupported number in one of the fields. Example: trying to open a .utc file with 510 in tha Appearance node (because KotOR only recongnizes 1-509). I hope that helps. PS: I gave the Qel-Droma robe stats to the default clothing for all the Jedi NPCs in this mod.

Oops...sorry I thought you were talking about the file itself, not KT. My apologies. Make sure that you have the .NET framework installed. When you go to open the .BIFs, KT builds the menu on-the-fly (at least that's how it appears to work). If you don't have all the necessary components, that could cause the crash. Just a thought. Graveyard_Zero
i thought that i had the .NET framework installed, but i just got the new sevice pack from microsoft (sevice pack #2 i think they called it) could that have messed up the .NET framework? I dont think it would, hmmmm should i try redownloading the .NET framework files?

Darth333
I guess it would not mess up Microsoft .net but it will mess up kotor ! http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/08/16/news_6104980.html Is "Windowze" a virus?

Will, I am glad I have not yet downloaded service pack 2. Thanks for posting that. The "Is Windows a virus" was funny but shouldn't it be "Windoze"? That is one of Windows more affectionate nicknames.
Graveyard_Zero
Does registering KoTOR tools unlock the bif menu? I havent gotten a reply to my reg request so that might be the problem, reinstalling the .net framework didnt fix the problem. and just to be sure i got a fresh copy of KoTOR tools. BTW thnks for the help, even though it didnt fix the problem i thank you for at least giving me a hand.

Darth333
Well I have not tried sp2 (and I'm not about to install it either)but if it messes out kotor...then your problem could be there...I haven't checked however. Have you tried to play the game normally with sp2?
Graveyard_Zero
the game plays fine with sp2,I dont think that that is the problem. Sp2 only interfiers with games trying to get on the net(at least that is what i though it said) and now that i think about it i had the problem before i got sp2. meh! mabey i will just go and tweek with jedi academy again that was fun and not so nearly infurryating
