projess Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 Hello, I have browsed through the forums and couldnt find much related to this problem. I have deleted all I can of this program, JK2, and its still not off of my system. It will not let me remove it from the add/remove programs list, and i cant uninstall... even with the cd.... i would like to get rid of it then re install so i can actually play it.... i have searched for all files containing the word JEDI and deleted them.... if any assistance can be offered it would be much appreciated... Thank you much...
acdcfanbill Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 if u deleted all the files on your hard drive its probably gone, but since u didnt uninstall i would assume the game is still in the registry and your start menu. try popping in the cd and clicking on the setup.exe on it. then just reinstall the game?
Pooeypants Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 Run -> regedit Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\Current Version\Uninstall Check to see if the file is in there, if it is then delete it.
Kurgan Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 Get a registry cleaning program like Registry Mechanic and then you can prevent problems like this in the future by making clean removals of all uninstalled/deleted files. Just a suggestion...
