Serious text problems in XWA with 3d on

Hello, everyone.

 

I have serious problems in XWA when I run it in 3d mode - all the ingame text becomes almost non-intelligible and blurry. When I run the software mode it's all fine. Can anyone help?

Seems like one guy had a problem like that before, but no one was able to seriously help him...

 

I tried: changing video resolutions, turning on anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering, messing with ingame configuration. Doesn't help.

 

BTW, I have ASUS V9570TD (GeForceFX 5700) 128 MB. I tried both the Detonator drivers and the drivers that came with the video card.

 

Any ideas?

From what most of us gather, it's a problem with the GeForce FX cards themselves, because older nVidia cards and all ATI cards don't have this problem. You'll have to live without 3D acceleration unless you swap video cards.

Next time I'm not buying a NVIDIA card, but I'm buying ATI instead.

It's not a GPU issue, it's a driver issue. You can complain at http://www.nvnews.net in the forums, nVidia driver devs go there often and there are usually feedback threads for the drivers, so post in there or make a new thread about it. I myself would like the text issue fixed too.
