lvl 40 mod (classes.2da)

:( Malak369 I could not get your mod to work, regardless of the amount of exp I have, new game with mod installed, old game, it does not matter, if I level up manually (choosing skills, feats, powers, for myself) I cannot go past 20. If I hit the auto levelup botton it only says lvl 21, if I click yes, the game crashes. I don't mean to be nasty but I'm very skeptical about your claim of this mod working on your machine.

Question:

Anyone know what the "effcrlvl1" thru "effcrlvl20" columns in classes.2da is for? I find it curious that we can only go to lvl 20 and that there are 20 of these columns in classes.2da.

Note: I edited classes.2da with a hex editor to add columns to effcrlvl40, but that still did not work. I'm think level/exp cap is hardcored, what do you guys/gals think? Maybe I'm missing something.

Reason I want to go past lvl 20, with some the cool mods i.e. ROTS it sux to see the "0 XP" after a kill and no hope of getting stronger unless I edit a saved game.

A few people claimed to have gotten this mod to work. I tryed it once, But I and several other have tried editing every 2da that is even remotely linked to levels without ever makeing any change in the level Cap. I have been convinced that the Cap Is "Hardcoded".

Apparently the search function has been disabled.

I know :(

btw, this has been discussed before, so make sure you use the search function next time. :)

Unless the search function was enabled today, when I tried using over the past 2-3 days I a message that said, search function has been disabled my moderator.

MY point is I did attempt to use the search function, and after manually searching 10 pages of posts I found 3 posts which really didn't cover my question about the classes.2da file. And I don't want to be labeled as a non search engine using n;) ;) b.

Well thx for all your input, I guess I'll go the other way, since the game responds to the levels/exp in the exptable.2da, I'll just edit it to require more exp to reach each level so I can keep leveling thru mods. :)
