lal
Hi, sorry for the stupid question and i realise its probably been asked about 1000 times but the search feature has been diabled for a while now.... anyway, i installed the patch a few days ago and notice during gameplay i cannot now type in 'devmapall' because it says 'no map specified'. i have found one way around this by typing in 'devmap <mapname>' which means it has to load up the whole level again, which as you can imagine is quite annoying especially on slower computers like mine. Is there something i can edit to enable devmapall again, or do i have to just reinstall the game and not use the patch?
Amidala from Chop Shop
The patch disabled devmapall, you must use devmap. Why is it so important for you to use cheat mode? To spawn NPCs? You can do that with a mod like xmod2, JA+, or JA Reloaded.
Sam Fisher
Weird, because my version (patched) uses devmapall but not devmap...!

Helpusobi 1 , you're our only hope! J/k, I know why there are pros to using a mod if you want to do that online, but it's still cheating as far as I'm concerned, and it has other cons built-in, so yeah... no debate here. ; ) Anyway, devmap <mapname> For MP, and helpusobi 1 for SP. Cheats still work. 1.01 is better in terms of fixes, though that definately annoyed some people (and the backrolls being harder to do and the stance switching bug that occurs if you give yourself setforceall 3 cheat). Using devmap to reload a map shouldn't be a problem since re-loading is much faster than the initial load. The instant you start up JA you can bring down the console (right in the menu) and enable cheats with the devmap command. It's not a big deal. After awhile it will become second nature. It did for me, at least.
