Suchan271
I thought that some of you may find it useful to convert your cd install into a dvd install. 1. Copy all of the contents from CD1 to a temp folder on your computer. 2. Copy all of the contents from CD2, CD3 and CD4 except for the autorun.inf and autorun.exe files to the same folder allowing overwrites if prompted. 3. Open the autorun.inf file with notepad and change it to look like this: [Disk] Disk=4 Label4=Disk4 4. Create a "Mod" or "Patch" folder if you like. 5. Burn the files to a DVD or create an image with any name you wish. 6. Upon loading the CD, you will be prompted to insert CD1 due to the modifications to the autorun file. Cancel this and go into the CD and run the Setup.exe to install. Enjoy.

Suchan271
I thought that some people would be interested in doing this. ...but it doesnt belong in holowan Interesting.. I thought that the point of this forum was to highlight any alterations to Kotor. Repacking the game to install off of one dvd certainly sounds like an alteration to me. No?? Either way, I'm glad you like.
tk102
but it doesnt belong in holowan I disagree. I consider this a 'mod' of the game.

Hybris
I have been think about doing this untill I realized that I have no dvd drive or dvd-rom which ever term you use. But its nice to see that people who are better equiped are helping the not-so-well-equiped.
