Where are the engines on the TIE Bomber? There are no little red dots on the OPT. Can it be the two pods?

The engines on the tie bomber ahould be located outside of the two pods, between the wing and the pods.

Here's a shot of one of the studio models at the Smithsonian(sp?).

And a small pic showing them on my XWAU TIE Bomber.

Neat. The two T/Bs look identical. Looks like you're doing a really good job at modeling these things.

BTW, see those 4 red dots? 2 at each pod? What are those things?

DUH! Decoy's rubbing off on me. I forgot the mention the whole point of those pictures. ARGH. It was to show the engine arrangement on the TIE Bomber. 2 per pod on the back ends.

No, I won't make a T/B with a sign on the back. Sorry. But I might make one with a Twi'lek dancer in the cockpit. smile.gif

I still can't believe I missed that temporary exhibit for Star Wars at the Smithsonian. I wanted to go but I wasn't able to. I was so ticked. Of course I finally got to go to the museum and of course it was gone when I got there

Going to the Smithsonian exebit was a great event to me.The props the costumes the film clip...Even the SW Insider covered it.

Anyway,I thought the XWA tie bomber engines were the black rays in the sides.
