Guest Master
After Abt fourty hours of playing this 45 min mission I'm kidna pissed. Surviving the Bombers and Interceptors gets habbitual but I never get to finish the level. No matter what happenes, if I ID every god damn ship (even entering and leaving local space)I never get to finish. Its never satisfactory. Is there a file or smth I can slip into the programming somewhere?
Guest pbb366
Did you call for Rogue Squadron? I think you need to do that before the shuttle leaves. In order to do that, press 9 and then the spacebar. If that doesnt work, press the <- arrow key until the bottom left screen shows the list that has 9 - reinforcements, and then do what I said. You call for reinforcements after you've delivered the commandos.
JR2000Z
And try hard mode.It seems to be easier somehow.
Guest Marril
And let the Rogues handle the fighters NOT attacking the Shuttle. Anyway, it seems that thenot getting ID'ed part was the hardest for me... or, conversely, use a Shore LEave... ------------------ "And it came to pass that the Wrath of Oingo Boingo fell upon the land. And Oingo Boingo cried out and said, "Behold, I have a wrath and I have fallen out upon your land." And the villagers of the land were frightened and proclaimed to Oingo Boing, "Behold, we are frightened, because you have a wrath and have fell upon our land." And Oingo Boingo answered to them, "Its because of you being frightened because of my wrath and falling out upon your land, that I shall destroy you." And Oingo Boingo did so. And it was NOT good, for all those who did see the great Oingo Boingo fell to his wrath." -Tyais 3:16 Why is it that whenever someone says SOL I am always in trouble... whether it be Standards of Learning or (the other version). I'm always screwed. --Tyais [This message has been edited by MISSINGNO. (edited _*-@&-@&^!).]
Guest Chris Lightwalker
I found it easy, as i'm a great fighter pilot, but if you put more power to the engines it should do the trick to avoid Inspection!
Guest JC_DeadEye
You're a great pilot? Um..groovy.....
Guest wookie2k
When the tydirium makes the escape you are detected anyway. Power to lasers and kill ties. Then just put yourself behind the tydirium and take out those bombers from distance
Admiral Odin
Avoid the ties, to get in (obviously). Dock with station. Then you don't need to worry about being spotted. Once the shuttle is captured hit shift S and then spacebar. Rogue squad will come. Then nock out the bombers and leave. ------------------ "Dulce bellum inexpertis." Guest Master
I'm sorry guys but you dont seem to get it. 1. The Rogues never show!! I've timed this every way possible. 2. The Tydirium gets back and docks whith the MC 80, I still get a failed mission. 3. The shoreleave-thing, I guess thats the up-turned helmet-icon. I don't get it for this mission. Sithspit guys, this is frustrating. [This message has been edited by Master (edited January 25, 2001).]
K_Kinnison
sounds like a buggy mission to me save your *.Plt files and re-install both XWA and the 2.
Guest Ze Ayatolahawk of Anarchy
Hey Marril, nice story, this has got nuttin to do with XWA, so sorry!! ------------------ Ze Ayatolahawk of Anarchy Never kick sumbodies ass unless you are sure there are a thousand more benefits apart from having the benefit. Guest Neezo
It sounds to me like u are having a prob with the game itself, Master. I had no probs with this mission at all. Maybe u have a virus or something like that. Anyways, take a backup of your .PLT file(s) and unistall the game. Then try to re-install it and simply copy your .PLT file(s) back into the directory where you installed XWA to. this should solve your problem, if not you better go and buy a new copy of the game. Guest Expert Rookie
You know, there's a prog you can download from Darksaber's Opt Station where you can edit the .plt file so you can skip missions, go to Jedi Master rank, General rank, etc. If you don't want that, then your game probably has a glitch like these other people say.
