Guest syrinxthrawn
Is it safe to assume that the record of which missions you've completed is stored in the pilot file? If so, is there any way to edit it if I get REALLY stuck on a mission and want to skip past it? I don't care about points, I just want to be able to bypass a mission here-and-there so I can move on through the game. Thanks.
Ham Yoyo
Download Piloteer. It is in the downloads area. ------------------ My Dream, to fly a starfighter and destroy Imperial ships.
Admiral Odin
since I don't know where you are in the game, you can skip missions by going on leave(only works for rebel missions not family ones) ------------------ "Dulce bellum inexpertis." Guest syrinxthrawn
Do you happen to have a copy of it you could e-mail to me? I tried to download it but got the "file not found" bit. Ham Yoyo
There is a list of XWA pilot editors at the link below. Click on files then Pilot editors. They have some that is better than Piloteer. I'm fixing to download one now. http://www.darksaber.freeserve.co.uk/ ------------------ My Dream, to fly a starfighter and destroy Imperial ships. Guest syrinxthrawn
Ham Yoyo, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! I downloaded couple of the Pilot Editors from that link you posted. I had gotten REALLY stuck on one mission to the point where I was ready to tear my hair out, cut up the XWA disks and mail them both to LucasArts. I owe you one. Ham Yoyo
Your Welcome. There are some of the missions (mainly some of the family missions) that really get on my nerves. This game is for fun and trying a mission 20 times is no fun. Thank goodness for pilot file editors. I know what you are going through. ------------------ My Dream, to fly a starfighter and destroy Imperial ships.
