Servant
did you install your tools on desktop?? if yes, install them as follows: c:\LucasArts\BFBuilder\... it looks like you can not have spaces in folder names, and tools will not run under Win9X. PR-0927
I got that once. Very, very odd problem. I had to redownload the tools. Make a backup of your data for your maps though (the DataModID folder).

Daiko701
I have been getting a similar error (Looks almost exactly with the exception of the URL) I have the mod tools installed as follows: C:\LucasArts\BFBuilder this erroer comes up each time I attempt to open an existing project or when creating a new project after it asks if I want to create the dir for "data[modid]", when I click yes for this the error pops up and the operation is broken.................. I am running WinXP Pro SP2 on an AMD Athalon 2200+ 512MB Ram, ATI 9550 256Mb Vid. All updated drivers and Microsoft updates. I have searched for a fix for this but as of yet I have found nothing to fix this. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Daiko Edit* I have downloaded the tools multiple times and from multiple sources. Neither have resolved this nor does this happen with any other apps. My install was only two months ago and I have scanned for any spyware etc and have also tried disabling my virus protection in hopes of resolving this.
