Apparently the festival coordinators negotiated with Lucas for six months to get the film. Ewan McGregor is supposed to be in attendance for those lucky enough to be on the guest list... the festival starts May 11 in France, but if you aren't there you'll have to wait until the 19th with the rest of us to see it. Posted February 22, 2005 Share Posted February 22, 2005 He obviously meant 'Revenge of the Sith', it's only a small lapsus, no need to make the mistake biggger than it really is I've read this news somewhere a couple of days ago, I think it's pretty cool that it opens up the Cannes Festival.
