[TSL] My first try at skinning

I been trying myself at skinning for the first time and wanted to see what you guys/girls think. Initially I started out wanting to make a Qui-Gon Jinn model but since you cant edit the mdx models yet I settled with just skinning for now which by the way is more than enough for me at the moment

I'm using the jedi master Zez Kai El as a basis for my head. I can’t do much about the ridiculous mustache yet though since it’s in the model and if I replace the mustache with skin it makes the skin as a mustache but I think he is good basis for my Qui-Gonn Jinn model. Not much resemble yet

 

The jedi robe is pretty much finished. I kinda like the colors now.

It looks pretty good, but the Hair line seems a bit too straight.

Yeah the face is just a first draft. I need to make the hairline better and he wil get some more beard and a lot less mustache.

what a sec i just noticed is that the same hairstyle as the mullet head from KOTOR 1 just not for the mustache

Well I just used the Zez Kai El head and added some hair on his bald top. But I think that mullet head had similar hair.

Theres this one model that you can choose to play with on your pc that has long grey hair and beard that would be quite fitting head with some texturing first `?
