TheProphet
I am trying to change the mandalorian battle sounds so I made waves of the sounds I wanted to replace just as I did with the saber sounds i replaced(which worked) and when I went in game, nothing changed. I put them in the override just as i did the saber sounds and it didnt work. The mandalorian grunt was still there. Anyone know if you are able to change batle sounds? Nequam
You need to make sure that your wave files are saved in the exact same format as the original KOTOR sounds, or else they won't play properly. I'm not sure if this applies to all the sounds in TSL, but for KOTOR, all the sounds were IMA ADPCM 44.100 kHz, 4 Bit, Mono wave files. So any sounds you want to import into the game will need to be in that format as well.
TheProphet
Well the saber sounds that i changed to waves were done the same way that i did these so shouldnt it work? Or are the saber sounds and batte sounds in different formats?
Nequam
Er... I'm not sure. I use a shareware program called GoldWave for all my sound mixing and editing needs. You can use GoldWave to open up the sounds and check the format (and if necessary, convert them as well).
