Tomb King Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 I'm using Kotor Tool and when I'm done my changes in the UTC editor I press save but I don't know where to save it to. Can someone help?
Keiko Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 Save it where ever you would like, just plop it in your override:p
madog Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 save it somewhere you wil lrember it and if you want it in the game save it under you game dir (ex. c:\program files\starwars\star wars knights of the old republic II the sith lords) but save the fine in a folder called "override" if playing tsl then make sure you make that folder first ****must be spelt right to work****
Tomb King Posted March 6, 2005 Author Posted March 6, 2005 Before TSL I wanted to test it on Kotor 1. I edited Malak for the test. I changed his appearance put the file into the override but he was the same. What else am I supposed to do?
Darth333 Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 You are probably editing the wrong .utc file: Malak has more than one .utc file. BTW, you should be very careful when you edit .utc files, especially in Kotor 2: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=145353
Tomb King Posted March 10, 2005 Author Posted March 10, 2005 Ok. Should I use the path BIFs/templates.bif then choose the utc or choose the path RIMs/Modules choose the module then the utc?
