Try the other nodes for the actual weapon textures. Don't remember what they are off the top of my head, but I'd bet you can find them under "w" for "weapon". I hope that helps. It probably started out as 512x512 or 1028x1028, then got re-sized to save precious space for the 4 CD set If you think those are small, try looking in the tpb & tpc nodes... ouch...
