When speaking German, you call all nouns a boy (der), a girl (die), or a neuter (das). (Der, die, and das all mean the or that for the word it is talking about.) And yes, its confusing. Cause there are many types of them. Der, dem, den - die, der, den - das, der etc... Der (Masculine) Tends to go to things that are more man-like. Like metal, guns, cars, aeroplanes. Stuff like that, and also for 'doers' like computer. Ex: Der Auto (car) Ex: Doer: Der Rechner (calculator) Die is for feminime (sp) they go to more girly stuff like and misc. stuff. Like black board (die Tafel) And you must call all plural nouns by die. Ex: Die Familie (family) Ex: Plural: Die Busse (Buses) Das is for everything else. Ex: Das Heft (notebook) _________________ _________________ Hallo, was gibt's? Hallo, es geht nicht sehr gut. Warrum?
