TSL Knights of Light Uniform

Recommended Posts

I was hoping somebody would do a uniform for the troops. It's kinda annoying that Mira currently has my best armor but I keep leading with Atton, cause his metallic armor looks more forbidding.

Can you make additional uniform skins? Or specialized uniforms? Like ranged soldier uniforms and melee soldier uniforms, that would be cool.

Thanks, Thanks :)

I'm glad you guys like it. I'm trying to get out several robes that have a WIDE variety of looks to mix up the game better. Besides if I were a Jedi in that Far Far Away galaxy I'd def. want some flashy robes. I'd be pimp Jedi...lol

AND A QUESTION???

Wonder if heads for characters are done along the same route as robes and the like in getting them in game? Do I just do heads the same as robes?

Thanks much man, I appreciate it. :)

And thanks on the site compliment. The ONLY reason the site is even there is for you guys on the forums. :) I"m gonna make it more user friendly this weekend and make each mod its own page. I got to thinking that dial-up users might have a problem loading all those pics. So a new look come the weekend. :)

Just a little FYI on my mod. I'm planning on this weekend sitting down and figuring out where the "neckline blackness" is coming from and make a real collar to the robes undershirt. It will also have flesh hands rather than black. You will still be able to download each version though :)

Bewarned: neckline stretching over the model is OBNOXIOUS.

Harker...

Thanks for the heads up. Figures it would be. I have really looked at those robe tga's (all fo them) and none have anything that can steer me towards finding them.

I guess i'm gonna have to recolor everything I don't want multicolored and open up the mod ingame & see what color pops up on which part.

Ooh well. whats another 50 or so layers in that .psd file...lol

excellentumindo idea man... I see the logic in that :) Thanks

Btw, nice reskin. Looks 20x better than my Hssiss Matukai concept. Nicely done.

I really liked your skin man, I thought it very cool. The thought of it popped in my noodle when I started making my robe here. At least my python didn't move half way through the scan and blur the snakeskin...lol

I'm putting out a new version maybe later on tonight with a MUCH nicer looking collar section that looks oddly similar to a "formal type" look on the robe. I'm trying to also add flesh colored hands. I got it down, but the coloring it just right is very difficult so they match.

Thanks for the compliment though man, can't wait to see your next project :)

Ok guys and gals,

Let me know what you think of this version as opposed to the old one. I added "flesh-tone hands" (still doing work on that) and a new collar section.

Screenie

EDITED: Ooh yeah, BTW the hands aren't the "real" color they will be. I will make them match 1/2 way between caucasian and african american.

I actually have YET to see a robe that I have modded with the neckline in any corner... for the robes I've done, it's always center, closer to the top.

But, yes, I have used the "finder color" technques listed above. I tried to give it a real texture, but settled for lighting change because the stretching the neck texture would produce was horrible!

The hands were also a kicker. All the robes I have available for download had easily noticeable glove outlines. However, i did make some that were not put up for DL that had CRAZY hand textures. I'd color some area and I'd get a pinky correct... color more areas and get SECTIONS of the hand colored right. It was very frustrating... but fun in it's own way (like a scavenger hunt!)

Harker, yep I agree totally. This particular robe I found it next to an odd section of the .tga that looked like a "white hand cupped next to a hole"...LOL if that makes sense. Sorta up and a little left from where you'd think the neckline would REALLY be. Like the robes top section that we can see plainly, just right up from that.

Psst...

Try taking the Darth Bandon skin (It has barehands) and cutting them out and overlaying them where the gloves for robes are. You might have to do it in pieces, but you'd have the right texture atleast.

Might be worth a try.

And thansk for being so kind about my robe... its ok though. I know its pretty grusome. No where as refined and impressive as yours.
