Fizz
For example the onderon scouts in Dxun or the mercenaries that try to kill you in Onderon? Some of these npcs i can't find while searching the 2da file using KT. Any help is appreciated.
Darth333
The best way to find what you are looking for is to check the .utc files in the specific module. The mercenaries should be in one of the OND modules in the RIMs - look for the .utc files in the Character Blueprint under something like 123OND_s.rim (I can't give you the exact name as I don't have the game with me but inany event, modding kotor always implies a bit of searching ) . Once you have found the correct .utc file, open it with GFF editor and note down the number appearing in the Appearance_Type field: this number corresponds to the row number in appearance.2da. You can use their .utc file. Using the .2da may cause problems since several npc's use the same apperances.

See this thread: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=145353 You really have to make sure that the .utc file you are modifying is unique in the game (by name and by tag). You have to verify the .utc files in the Templates.bif in the BIFs and every module in the RIMs. Edit tk102: Added 'www' back into the URL
