Malivolus
I modified Atris model so that is working like a normal robes and now I want to add it properly to game. I checked out T7's tutorial on adding custom armors to the game, but how could I add a new model to the game? If understand correctly that would involve creating a new column in appearance.2da (since there are no unused columns, except for males, but since these robes are for females this doesnt help) and then pointing Body Variation in uti file to the index of this new column? If so, how would I be able to add the column (I could export it to xml then edit the file and import using KT, but given the number or rows thats quite a lot of work)? Maybe forcing a default model in baseitems.2da would work, but unfortunately due to the bug in KT I cannot test this all yet, so I wanted to ask - is there some easier way to add it to the game, or this is not possible? Malivolus
Argh, baseitems.2da approach did not work and changing appearance.2da crashes game. It seems that choosing models for robes are hardcoded somewhere. I'll try to sort out appearance.2da, but I have yet to find out where in the uti file is the reference to what model will be used (all robes have a Model Variation set to 0 and baseitems points to I_Null). So, really, does no one have any ideas how could this be accomplished?
macgreg0r
I 've found a Darth Revan new robe for TSL on pcgamemod.com: http://www.pcgamemods.com/11127/ I've tryed it and it's working. but there is pb with robe gravity animation. But It seem's it is a new item for me. I have added it to my inventory with KSE. Perhaps it is a way to help you to add a new item.
T7nowhere
Several modders have tried to add new columns to appearance,2da without success . It would seem that its hardcoded. The only viable solution would be to make your model replace one of the other models being used my the PC. One choice could be columns modelj and texj this is the column that was used for the Star Forge robes. They still work and really all you have to do is make a uti, But anyway back on topic. This model Is not used currently in the game so you could rename your model and Tex to PFBJM(for the model) and PFBJ (for the texture) Make a uti that uses the Baseitem 89(Revan Armor and your all set

su27
It's quite important trick and one hard to find. I think it should go to skinning tutorials section.
