It's a metal case (groundbag appearance) .utp that has the datapad in it's inventory. Should I still look into getting rid of it, such as a "Destroy Object" inserted? Or an "inventory check" so that it won't respawn if the PC already has one in their possession? and of course, how to do that... hehehe After reviewing the whole thread, I see I got carried away and deviated from your actual setup here. Well, in your particular case, and in this particular area, I think it doesn't really matter that much. If you plan on using this groundbad so player can pick the datapad from its inventory, then you don't need to destroy the placeable. It can stay since player is never coming back there. Initially, I was thinking you intended to make fake version of real datapad on the floor:

I may wind up using it so the 'just in case' factor is covered. It checks and compensates for 'previous' visits. Plus, it's a one-scripter... less space & compiling (major plus)... I even left the area and came back just to test it... nice old (empty) marker there so "whew" Thanks again everyone! I've indeed learned something new in the scripting world, and of course credits will be given in the script comments (//) and my portion of the readme Back to "phase 2" now... hehehe -------------------------------- Discussion regarding ExecuteScript function continues: here tk102
