Handarsu
Well was away on a family "easter" weekend and an idea sparked in my mind. Is it possible to make Upgradable Bracers? First: I am curious if it is possible to grant upgradable status to a bracer. Second: Can you "abuse" the upgrade screen of lets say the weapons to give it a visible "easy-to-use" interface? No third just that I know I could just make it a dialogue that keeps replacing the item... though then I would have to make 5x5x5= 125 different items. coaxmetal
it's been done before, at least with KotOR1. there were mods that attatched scripts to armbands to make 'em into flamethrowers and use force choke on people, and there was a mod for a visor that was not only upgradeable (via the workbench, blasters section i think), but also had it's own unique upgrade parts. so looks like it could be done again for bracers...chances are, everything except getting them to appear in the upgrade screen could be done by editing the item files (.uti files?) with Kotor tool. *edit* the visor i mentioned was T7nowhere's Verpine implant integration Visor. you can get it at http://www.pcgamemods.com/7673/

Darkkender
T7's implant integration visor's upgrade ability had some serious flaws in KOTOR 1. So I wouldn't use it as the basis for saying that this would work. However the flipside the upgrade system and the upgrades themselves have changed in TSL so that you can add new types of upgrades for the different categories of items. Armor upgrades ranged weapon upgrades Lightsaber upgrades The trick is getting your item to be upgradeable with the apropriate category of one of the 3 above. This will probably require creating a new entry in baseitems.2da. Then you will need to set your items upgradelevel through the use of a GFF editor. I can take a look into this at some point and give you some more feedback.
