Mandalorian54
Most skills won't go up to ten. 1 just means you've learnt the basics and can use it. Every step up is a full level of training. It also depends on the individual character's Stats. Someone with 5 Force sensative will be better with level 1 Force Power than someone with 3 Force sensative and 3 Force Power. It really depends and it's hard to be technical. As for the plot, you're not suposed to be writing a history on your character. Write about the future, what you want to do. Your history can come out in the story through conversation with other players or something. A master that takes you on for trying to steal his lightsaber will have to be merciful and kind. You're master will also be wise and fair teaching you well. If you still fall to the Dark side with Derrik, I'll be surprised. But you'll get plenty of involvement in the main plot and anything can happen. I would add to your character flaws, emotional problems. The Death of your parents driving such a smart wise kid to life on the streets with poverty and theft...definetly emotional problems. It's going to take a very compasionate master to help such a troubled youth.

Hiroki
Here is a go at mine. I think he is a pretty unique concept. Wait till you read all to judge. He may seem powerful, but he is easily manipulated. ================ *Character Sheet* ================ Player: Hiroki Name: Hassari Trask Age: 18 Gender: Male Race: Human Homeworld: Bakura (Rim World) Personality Character Traits: Kind, great strength, fast, fissure in the Force, cute (in personality) Character Flaws: Impatient, innocent, trusting, naive, congenial brain damage. Likes: Fighting, playing, funny people, nice people. Dislikes: Cruelty, mean people, being deceived. Statistics Looks: 3 Intelligence: 4(innocent) Wisdom: 3(naive) Strength: 5 Speed: 5 Charisma: 5 Fortitude: 5 Dexterity: 4 Willpower: 4 Force Sensitivity: 6(Heresey Child there have been several in Jedi History, though mostly forgotten), fissure in the Force) Skills Weapons: Sword(6), Hand to Hand(4), Blaster(3), Specialized Sword(2) Fighting Styles: Veskasa fighting style(sword)(3), Garik'lah fighting style(sword)(3), Keida-Remus fighting style(specialized sword)(2) Vehicular: Speeder(1), Star Ship(1) Force: Knowledge of the Force(2), Combat Prowess(4), Reflexes(4), Senses(4), Force Defence(3), Force Enhancement(3), Force Power(5) Diplomatic: Politics(2), Negotiation(1) Other: Training -Private Training - age 2-6 Lv.1: Knowledge of the Force(1), Combat Prowess(1), Reflexes(1), Senses(1), Sword(1), Hand to Hand(1) -Private Training - age 7-10 Lv.2: Combat Prowess(1), Reflexes(1), Senses(1), Force Defence(1), Force Enhancement(1), Force Power(2), Sword(2), Hand to Hand(1), Blaster(1), Veskasa fighting style(sword)(1), Politics(1), Speeder(1) -Private Training - age 11-14 Lv.3: Knowledge of the Force(1), Combat Prowess(1), Reflexes(1), Senses(1), Force Defence(1), Force Enhancement(1), Force Power(2), Sword(2), Hand to Hand(1), Blaster(1), Veskasa fighting style(sword)(2), Garik'lah fighting style(sword)(2), Politics(1), Negotiation(1), Star Ship(1) -Private Training - age 15-18 Lv.4: Combat Prowess(1), Reflexes(1), Senses(1), Force Defence(1), Force Enhancement(1), Force Power(1), Sword(1), Hand to Hand(1), Blaster(1), Garik'lah fighting style(sword)(1), Keida-Remus fighting style(specialized sword)(2), Specialized sword(2) =============================== *Character Plot: The innocence of destruction* =============================== This will take some careful cooperation on your part Mandy. You will need to give him a Master who "disappeared" from the order previously. He won't be trained within the order, but out in the Rim. His Master preferably wouldn't actually care for Hassari, rather using him for his own gain. He should be a "fallen" Jedi, though not a wielder of Dark Powers, as they haven't been discovered by the Jedi at this point. Hassari is innocent, and easily manipulated by the clever. Trained for one thing: Fighting, and destruction. When set up right, he will view it as a game which he must "win". Winning can have bad circumstances for many in some cases. His Master preferably would use his to the highest bitter, exploiting him for his own goals. This also allows you to keep a check on my character, assuming his Master does nothing stupid to piss him off or reveal he is just using him. He sees him like a father, more so than a Padawan does there Master. It is a very powerful character, but I feel it will add an extra demension to things. And I know your character would want to exploit him later on. Edit: Oh, and he should probably start on a system fairly distant from Coruscent. Mandalorian54
Sounds good Hiroki, but I think I'll give you a set of training and skills. Remember too, the level of training refers simply to the amount of training not to how good they neccessarily are at that skill. Also they can still be innocent with a higher intelligence, intelligence refers more to IQ, with a low intelligence it would be impossible for him to learn level 5 fighting skills. You can give him 4 or 5 intelligence, his sense of innocence will be more a result of lack of experience in general life, you can give him 3 wisdom too, it's not abnormal for people to be taken advantage of and they don't have to be completely stupid for it. I think you should lower his Charisma, Fortitude, (and/or) Dexterity. I guess I can let you have 6 Force Sensativity but I just don't want everyone asking for it. Your character Plot is good, already ideas of how I can fit it into the main plot are forming in my mind... I don't have time right now because I have to go to work but later this evening I'll post you your training and skills.

Mandalorian54
It's fine Hiroki, except one thing is still bugging me a bit. The whole, Iron will of a child thing. Well by will I mean more like a person is less likely to give up if he has high will, and more likely to quit if he has low will, but not childish things like getting what he wants. Iron will of a child is more like being spoiled and getting what you want when you throw a fit. Since he's a street kid he wouldn't be spoiled in that way so I don't think he should have the iron will of a child. His will should be determined more as his abuility to carry out a difficult task under pressure or being cowardly and running away when things get dangerous. Edit: oops, got your character confused with Jokemaster's, ignore the bit about being rasied on the streets. Yeah but still everything else about will. Weather or not he's got the iron will of a child is different from willpower. Put it as a character flaw if you want him to still have the iron will of a child but adjust the will (willpower) based on determination in times of skill and difficulty. =========== weiderudare, sounds good, the Shi'va thing I'm a bit doubtful towards...the Jedi always focus more on sword fighting. How are you going to block blaster bolts with your fists? I guess I could say it's a fighting style your master has created and is working on, that he introduced you to it. But it's not a regular part of Jedi Training. Go ahead and keep Shi'va but add on the full skills of the Jedi training. The skills only refer to training, not how good you acctually are at it. So just cuz he doesn't like sword or blaster training doesn't mean he doesn't have to do it like everyone else. Okay I'm making your masters and working on plots, I won't post your master's character profiles but I will tell you a bit about them when they're finished. I will make their profiles though and keep them on my computer for personal reference but it doesn't need to be comon knowledge and it's a waste of space for me to post every side character's sheet. The story should be ready to begin tomorow.
Hiroki
About the Shi'va, he could block blaster bolts with his hands. That is a force power. A master of that skill can block quite a lot that way.
Mandalorian54
Yes, there is the whole thing where Darth Vader blocked Han Solo's shot with his hand then pulled the gun out of Han's hand. But still...it's different when your standing there across the room one on one. You can't move your hands as fast as a sword or cover as much of yourself. Hands don't reach as far as blades. Sure we'll include blocking blaster bolts with your hand in Shi'va but you're still going to get the full training with a sword. You get the same training as Derrik, but if you want to you can subtract one point off something and add it to something else. Like a point of blaster and an extra point on hand to hand. So say your master said you could train extra on hand to hand and you wouldn't have to train as much on blaster. But your master still has to train you in everything. Edit: Oh yeah, your being trained by a Fallen Jedi who left the Order. Okay, um...forget about all the basic training. Just post what you'd like to focus on and I'll write you up some skills and private training. Keep in mind level of training does not mean how good you are at it, just how long and how much you were trained at it. Edit: lol I keep getting mixed up, weiderudare is the one with the Shi'va. so, Hiroki, list what you'd like to focus on and I'll cook up some private training and skills for you. And fix your will. weiderudare, you can substitute points that your master decided to train you less in something to train you more in something else but other than that keep the regular Jedi training and skills. Hiroki
Okay, lets see. He was abandoned from the start pretty much. His Master had already disappeared from the order when he found him, just barely over 1 year old. Even then he sensed the fissure he created within the Force. He was taken away by him, and that was basically were all his training came from. All his life he has been trained in the Force, the blade, and the martial arts by the Fallen Jedi Master, so he would have received a great deal more training in those areas than most Jedi as he wasn't trained much in diplomacy or negotiation. His Master dealt with that mostly. He used him as a weapon against his enemies. He trusts his Master completely at this point, the idea of him lying to him or using him is beyond thought. And suggesting such would make him extremely angry... So, I'm going to post the skills here by age. -Training age 3 - 6 Lv: 1 - Knowledge of the Force (1), sword(1), Senses (1), Reflexes(1), Combat Prowess(1) Hand to Hand (1). -Training age 6 - 10 Lv: 2 - Knowledge of the Force (2), Sword (2), Senses (1), Combat Prowess (1) Hand to Hand (2), Force Defense (1), Reflexes (2). -Training Age 10 - 15 Lv: 3 - Knowledge of the Force (3), Sword (3), Senses (2), Combat Prowess (2), Hand to Hand (3), Force Defense (2), Reflexes (2). -Training Age 15 - 18 Lv: 4 - Knowledge of the Force (3), Sword (4), Senses (3), Combat Prowess (3), Hand to Hand (4), crafting (1), Force Defense (2), Reflexes (3). I understand what you are saying about it not actually governing how 'good' he is. I'm trying to understand how it works though. Sorry if those skills look odd or anything. Just tell me what you think.

The planet was inhabited by a primitive race of human-like aliens, known as the Treshimans. They lived in large clans spread out across the planet and warred amongst themselves constantly. A fallen Jedi master discovered them when he was hiding from the Republic and used their planet to lay low on. The Treshimans excelled in various combat forms. Veskasa was a war hero amongst them who waged war all across the planet. the Veskasa fighting style is one for aggressive sword fighting style with various hand to hand moves integrated into it. ======================== *Garik'lah fighting style* ======================== Garik'lah was another Treshiman hero, though not a war hero like Veskasa. Mandalorian54
It's not a question of when you get your master, you have a master. You get to find out who he is when the story starts. I'll post some info on the Jedi Masters before the story starts, when I write them up. I haven't done that yet though. Also, they may be your master and not a Jedi Master, Jedi Knights often take on padwans.
Mandalorian54
weiderudare, you took 1 point off sword and 1 off blaster but added 3 to hand to hand. You have an extra point in there so you have to take one off something, sword, blaster, or hand to hand. Also I'm changing blaster pistol to blaster. the skill blaster refers to any blaster type, blaster pistol would excel in a pistol only with no training on blaster rifle. The Jedi will simply train all blaster forms eaqually so I'm changing it from blaster pistol to blaster. Edit that skill in your character sheets. I think it would be a good idea to post a hotmail adress with your character sheet so that we can use msn to speed up conversations and duels. Otherwise a normal conversation could take weeks.
