And if I made the planet out of mostly tatooine could I use different textures on it? like make all the sand be snow, and change the lighting and the sky texture and still have tatooine the same. I tried changing the lighting of Taris with svosh but we got stuck as lighting is part of the area model and we cannot do this yet. However, you can change the textures. To avoid overriding the existing textures you will have to hex edit (dunno if MDLops can handle this: i did not use the latest versions) the area models, which can be a lot of trouble but it is possible. I would only need help to get the actual module going, and getting it in the list of planets then I could populate it with stuff and redo some textures.
