Bioware unfortunately was much more thorough than obsidian when it came to removing cut content from the game disc. while in kotor II we have the luxary of have of enought cut content from places like the hk factory and the malachor endings that they can be restored (infact there is a team working on that very idea here: TSL Restoration Project) but with kotor1 there is no such luxary. Bioware removed jsut about every trace of Sleheyron, and that includes the smuggling quests that were supposed to take place there. However, i dont image it would be hard to make brand new custom smuggling quests. that hutt on tattooine has you smuggle the mystery box for him, you could easily create a few new quests for credits/custom made items, or Vogga on Nar Shadaa would be perfect, or you could even putt a new hutt/other alien in the jekk jekk tar, the second hutt could even be having a crime war with vogga and you would have to choose a side/play them against each other/unite them against a common enemy (GOTO). you may even be able to a kinda "han solo" twist to it by if you decide not to make his delevery intime or sell it to someone offering more credits/better item he becomes angry and puts a price on your head and sicks the bounty hunters on you.

 

wow, ok i'm making my head spin! thats the beauty of modding, you can make the game do just about anything you want (except get to Sleheyron)! :) I suppose that what i've suggested is a pretty ambitious, but definetely not outside the realm of possibility (like restoring Sleheyron :D )
