Songs from ripped cds, games, tons of videos, pictures, various small programs, etc... And I have two hard drives, a 40GB and a 100 GB. I always feel like I'm tight on space. General Kenobi
If you guys are using over 100 GB of space for videos/music and storage you prob. should consider getting a server or multiple HD's for storage. Anyone with that much stuff is not a normal average user size wise. I'd highly suggest since everybody seems to be WAYYYY TOOOOOO BIGGGGGG size wise for much backup wise; I'd get good at finding virus/spyware attacks quick Most people do not keep the contents of VH1 & MTV2 stored locally on their HD so ghosting would work just fine for you. To you guys who have all that stuff and have any worries about getting your stuff fried two words: firewall + server or I'd suggest if you have music/videos and the like that's not "program" related; move those to a separate HD or a new HD that you install. If you point your "my videos" and "my music" to the new HD it will still work the same and if your OS goes dead and you have to reformat your main drive you still have all your data that way @ChAiNz I can see why you guys take up all that space. Our "media" server at work was huge (not that big though) My scan folder for gems and jewelry pieces alone took up thousands of megs since all those scans and such were bout' 11x17 600dpi. The video media I won't even go into it's size. I'll just say it had it's own servers
lukeiamyourdad
That's why I have two HD But anyway, people with Ghost copies annoy me. I know one person, that had something like 5 partitions for several ghost copies...one for each week... It's not really necessary. Hey, if you're careful about what site you're downloading stuff from and don't use Kazaa or the likes, you'll be fine. Avoid porn sites too. But I guess none of you will actually avoid porn sites... General Kenobi
Firefox is most definately kewl attacks on it will increase though as more and more "hackers" write for it as it gains popularity. You'd think the people that make spyware could find something better to do with their time
lukeiamyourdad
Yes but fixes also come regularly and whenever there's a serious security hole, there's always a solution on some forum. The community protects Firefox. Still, I use many web-browsers just for the fun of it
