NeveAngelus
I'm working on a mod that has quite a bit of dialogue editing that needs to be done, so I figured if I could print out the dialogue tree and long hand what I needed before doing all the editing on the computer (plus knowing what sound bites I had to work with so I can make appropriate responses) I'd be golden. So I opened up DGL and to my suprise there was no print function... Does anyone know if what I want to do is even possible? Thanks Neve
tk102
Hello The old version of DLGEdit (the command line version) allows you to output the dialog to a text file though it is not as pretty as a treeview. You can get it from here.

tk102
Ha ha, don't thank me yet -- DLGEdit isn't the easiest utility to work with in the world unless you're comfortable with text-based applications.

My first computer was a PC jr. which should tell you my comfort level (God I miss DOS some days) But you're right in the fact it tends to crash when I try and do the export, which is annoying. Ah well... Looks like I may have to murder my eyes, which I guess is just desserts for wanting to do a mod with a lot of dialogue based stuff. tk102
I have decided that you are making a request for a feature addition to DLGEditor.

If that's in your power, TK (right now I can't remember who wrote the blessed thing) I'll sell you my second born... as my first born's in the terrible twos and I'm not sure you want to deal with that Seriously, that'd be great. It was a useful feature and used it quite often. It would certainly be a good addition to DLGEditor Originally posted by NeveAngelus If that's in your power, TK (right now I can't remember who wrote the blessed thing) Yup, tk102 is da man for this.
