Playlists

I thought we should have a thread dedicated to creating playlists to go along with different activities/events.

 

So I'll start.

 

I would like to create the ultimate playlist to listen to while reading the books from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series (or playing the text adventure)

 

So far, my ideas for what I would put on this playlist consist of:

 

Joby Talbot's score to the HG2G movie (of course)

 

"We're All Light" by XTC

 

The Outlaws soundtrack

 

Selected tracks from the Final Fantasy series

 

Probably the collected works of They Might Be Giants

 

And also probably the collected works of Elliot Smith

 

Anyone else have any ideas for this playlist?

Ah, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Great soundtrack - I was humming "so long and thanks for all the fish" all the way home on the bus.

 

And Outlaws - I don't care what they say, it's one of my favourite LEC soundtracks. I'm listening to it right now actually because I'm in the middle of writing my Western. It helps.
