Help with installation

I had installed the game earlier this year with no problem, but then un-installed becasue of space issues ( keeping the save files obviously)

 

and now when I try to re-install I get this message

 

 

I'm on windows XP 256 RAM

EDIT Read the bit below the patch first

 

Try downloading this patch

If that doesn't work do a search in your regedit.exe file for grim, lucusarts, etc to make sure all the old registry entries were deleted when you uninstalled the game. If there's anything left get rid of them, then try installing again. Before you delete anything back up the registry files in case you delete something you shouldn't have. If you don't know how read this

assuming your running xp. Probably not a bad idea to do the backup before anything else. Hope it works for you.

See here. It looks like it's the exact same issue, just with a different program than the one listed on that page. Try the same fix and see it helps.
