Darth_Enix
Yee-ha, I've almost finished my first recruit mod. Only two things reman: testing it, and adding voice to the character. The first one, I can handle, but I can't record her voice, and I'm unsure how to add it as well (I had trouble with the tutorial for adding voice and lipsync to a character) so I was wondering if anyone else was able to record and add the voice and lipsync (btw, it's for Yuthura, so it'd need to sound like her). I've got all the files and a wordpad document of everything she says (thankfully it's not much, because you can only recruit her after the Leviathan). And it's for KOTOR 1, not that nobody would've guessed that, since it's for Yuthura recruit.
TheProphet
Hmm your having trouble adding voices and lypsinc? Well its pretty easy once you've got the hang of it. If you havent already, check my Storyline Mod tutorial as it has this in it in depth. But let me just see if I can help from here. When you record your voice and save it as either a .wav or .mp3 you MUST save it in the stramsounds folder. Also it must be the same name as the name you put in the VO_ResRef in the Entry in the Dialog. Also make sure that when you put the name in the VO_ResRef that you dont have the file extention on it IE: .wav or .mp3. And to add lip sync well I go into it under Adding Lypsinc to your Dialog in my tutorial. If you could be a little more specific on what you did so far and where the problem is exactly that would help. -Gsccc
Darth_Enix
Sorry, hadn't realized I wasn't specific enough. I can't record, my laptop's recording system has something wrong with it, so I am unable to record anything (otherwise, I probably would have recorded it myself. And the lipsync, well, I'll take a look at your tutorial as soon as I find it.
