REDJOHNNYMIKE
#1. Is there any chance that Obsidian buried a Star Map somewhere in TSL's files and it could be converted into a useable galaxy map? or at least some kind of 3-D star mapish device? #2. Is it possible to use a system like the galaxy map as a rapid transit system, using a ship blueprint/schematic as a background? instead of just a computer interface with module names. Archon II
I believe that there is a model and sound for a Star Map... Just use Kotor Tool to find the model .mdl and the .mdx files and you can find the sounds for it in the "Wav Files" folder... As for it being converted, I have no clue... I know there wasn't a RTS in Kotor 2 this time and I'm unaware whether or not it exists, so I can't help you there...
REDJOHNNYMIKE
Thanks, I want to have star maps on the bridge of my ship mod:) There was one on Citadel station:)
Archon II
Cool... Oh yeah... Then what you were wanting to do should be possible. Just make your own .tga file and substitute it instead of whatever else it was...
REDJOHNNYMIKE
Well, the RTS in citadel was one of those computer interfaces, where you make numerical choices, I wanted it to be like the galaxy map where you actually select the locations on a 2-D plane, but replace the galaxy with a ship diagram, and place the "planets" where each room shows up And I was able to find textures for a star map, but no models? REDJOHNNYMIKE
Thanks, I didn't see those, for some reason they weren't in order. Although, I probably didn't see them because of the plc prefix, what does that prefix stand for?
