Jedi333 Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 I was wondering if someone her can please post all of the command-line switches for X-Wing Alliance, or at least all of the ones pertaining to screen resolution and the use of 3D hardware rendering and 2D OS software rendering? And does anyone know if there any "official" Technical Reference Guide for XWA? Thanks, Jedi333
Wildstar Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 AFAIK, there are no command line switches used in XWA. All of the settings (resolution, 3D acceleration) are set through the options dialogs in-game.
Jedi333 Posted October 6, 2005 Author Posted October 6, 2005 Hi Wildstar, Actually there are switches in XWA. Here is one of them: xwingalliance.exe /skipintro I used another switch about a year ago to get around a 3D hardware rendering problem, but haven't found my notes of the switches when I recently re-installed the game.
Keyan Farlander Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 You could try /devmode I don't know if that does anything for XWA, but it's a common enough thing. It gave you control over video cards/resolutions in Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight, for example.
Jedi333 Posted October 12, 2005 Author Posted October 12, 2005 Hi Keyan, Thanks for the info. I tried, but no cigar
