rictus135 Posted October 13, 2005 Share Posted October 13, 2005 Hi everyone! I would like to make a mod so that you can recruit the jedi you see on the endar spire. This is easy enough using a recruitment mod, but i want to know how to make it so that i recruit her after she beats the dark jedi, and youve beaten the sith troops. I would also like her health to stay low and her to follow you at a distance. can anyone help with this even if it is just clueing me into a tutorial that deals with this stuff? CarnageIKU Posted October 13, 2005 Share Posted October 13, 2005 hmmm lets see, i happen to know that Lucas arts doesnt want anyone to import models(faces and their textures) from game to game, why? i honestly dont know. so no, no face from tsl is legal on kotor1. as for the character, it would be simple enough to use the save game editor to change on of the existing characters into looking like the jedi on the endar spire, even trask, for while he is alive so that would be alot easier then makeing a recruit mod. I have tried out an extremely rough draft and found that the jedi doesn't collapse at the end of her fight, which isnt particularly suprising from what i have heard about cutscenes. the second problem is when trask runs off to fight bandon, the doors close to the bridge my jedi gets stuck and i can't get to the starboard section! I guess i need a script to either transport the jedi there, but i have no idea how to set it up and trigger it. Overall this simple mod is starting to sound way over my simple head. Darth InSidious Posted October 16, 2005 Share Posted October 16, 2005 ^No mod is ever simple I'm assuming you've got the recruitment dialogue and scripting all in place, and you are talking about after that happens?
