vader815
does anyone know if you can attack different planets at once and is there an AI that can create a base at one star system while I battling at another system
Jan Gaarni
You can attack 2 different places at once, but you'll have to resolve each battle seperatly. Now, having said that, coordinating each battlegroup to arrive at their destinations at the exact same time, would be a challange in itself. This is not like Rebellion, where each day is like 1 turn. In EaW, time will be more fluid than in Rebellion.
Cheech Marin
It might be similar to Rome: Total War where you have a "world map" mode that is turn-based, and a battle mode that plays out in real time. That way you can order your armies to attack several planets simultaneously on the galaxy strategic map, and then you can decide which battle you want to fight first. However, I think I heard something about being able to switch between battles on several planets, so I'm not sure about how that works.
Jan Gaarni
Your first part: Not likely, judging by the videos we have available of the gameplay. As for your second part, I have not read anything about that. Could you provide a link to the source if you can find it?
Cheech Marin
Hmm, maybe I mis-read it, but I think you can decide which battle you wish to fight first, and so on.
Jan Gaarni
That is a possibillity of course. But since it appears that it's all in realtime, only in galactic mode time goes very fast, it's going to be somewhat harder to coordinate 2 or more attacks to start at the same exact time. artisen12
it could be like battlefront you keeping going on one turn until you loose a round then it there turn till they loose
nightmarenny
it could be like battlefront you keeping going on one turn until you loose a round then it there turn till they loose That does make any sense. Their are things to be done other than battle. Making units, making stuff on planets. If only on side could do that when it were winning then if one side one two or three battles then logic dictates they would continue winning. Not at all far. The alpha has started right? Ask on of them.

Jan Gaarni
No, this is even less of a turnbased game as Rebellion. Rebellion wasn't really turn based per say either. It was fluid, just that when you were building and moving units, they would always arrive or be produced at the beginning of the day, even if you moved the unit right before the day changed. In EaW there will be no turns at all. It will all happen simultaniously. When you move and manufacture units, so will the other player (or the AI). But when combat occures, you will either have to choose which battle you wish to resolve first, or the game chooses it for you. That is, if 2 battles start at the same time. And that's a big if.
