I'm looking forward to Call of Duty 2... and Unreal Tournament 2007.

 

It's not like Unreal Tournament 2007's requirements will be any less steep than Doom III or Quake IV. Right?

 

Anyway, that's a nice in-joke. It's actually pretty cool when you find out a major character is named after one of the game's developers. Even cooler to know they're a member of these boards and a very helpful contributor to us fans.

Half the charaters from ST: Voyager : Elite Force (those that wern't from the TV show) were named after members of the team, though I can't find my instruction book to prove it right now...

 

And as for the return of the pump action shot gun, why? does anyone actualy use them in real life any more? why not just use a semi auto. much easier.

Well the thing is, if it's using Unreal tech, it's probably going to be lower than the minimum requirements of the Doom3 engine.

 

Yes, inserting game developers into their games is a time honored tradition.
