Darthdude99
Yesterday I tryed to change Darth Sion's apperence to that of Darth Vader's. So I went into Kotor Tool ANd went under Bifs>Templats>BluePrint,Character>n_darthsion. Then under the inventory setting in the utc editor I added armor to Sions Inventory matching with the .uti used in Avols Vader mod (the Updated version). Then I saved the utc and copied it into the override folder but when I went to Korribon Sion still looked the same. Should I have edited the apperence.2da file, changed the human restriction line under the uti, or is it something I can't even phathom. (yeah thats alot of stuff) Thanks, Bryan
Emperor Devon
You shouldn't go to BIFs. You have to go to the specific modules he's in under RIMs: 153HAR, 152HAR (as a hologram), 702KOR, 903MAL, and 907MAL. Also, don't just add it to his inventory... You have to actually put it on the equipment slot.
stoffe
In addition to what has been said, you'd need to change Darth Sion's body model to Human as well, since his appearance is a full body model which will not show any clothes you equip on him. I would be careful doing that though since I think the Darth Sion model has some custom animations that are used in cutscenes. Further, be very careful about placing UTCs extracted from RIMs in the override folder. You'll need to make sure there aren't any templates with the same name in several RIMs, since your UTC in override will override the templates with that name in all RIMs, potentially resulting in broken tags and missing/incorrect character scripts. (For example, putting the n_darthtraya001.utc template in override will replace both Kreia and Atris with that template.)
Darthdude99
Emperor Devon: I had heard that in a previous(sp) thread but I didn't think it applied. I did equip him with the armor not just place it in his inventory. Thanks stoffe -mkb-: Thanks for the warning and direction. *total noob* I kind of thought his appearance/body model had something to do with it. Again thanks for all the help, Bryan
Darthdude99
stoffe- where do you change the body model? I assumed it was under appearence.2da but I couldn't find it same under the utc (under rims). Help?
