For me, it's all the little details that make it awsome. For instance, when you're in a space battle, how the ships don't just go here, fire until one is destroyed, go back over here, they continue to fly around. I also appreciate how one unit is actually 5 men, and you can tell how healthy one unit is compared to another without ever setting a mouse on them.

 

It's definately different than all the RTS games I've played, but in a good innovative way :)
