TIE_Snake Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Hello, I just downloaded the demo for empire at war, and I was surprised that I looked so much like an other Star wars game I played this year: Rebellion. And the best part for me is that it seems they fixed up everything that Rebellion lacked and made a ver entertaining game, I just hope this new kind of RTS make success, so there can eb expansions and other games based on these new features. thanks,
popcorn2008 Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Yes the game does have a modern Rebellion feel to it. It sure brought back memories for me as well. Though diplomacy and other high level features werent implemented into EaW the game still has that magic to it. >Moved to Galatic Discussion, as this does not pertain to Demo Feedback<
Sithxace Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 i dissapointed that they didnt implimentgenerals, admirals, commanders like in rebellion.
TIE_Snake Posted January 21, 2006 Author Posted January 21, 2006 Hey sithxace, maybe in campaign mode we see colonel veers being promoted to general or even tarkin becoming moff. PS :Thanks for moving the post popcorn =D. thanks
Bossz Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Yeah it's a shame that the galaxy part is so basic.
popcorn2008 Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Yeah, while the galatic map does seem basic im sure in the full version it will be far more complex. Just think, if you play as the empire your gonna have to constantly make sure the rebels are stealing credits from your planets and hire bounty hunters. The map sure looks awesome too, I cant wait to see it with all the planets available
Ryebread Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 i dissapointed that they didnt implimentgenerals, admirals, commanders like in rebellion. There are fleet commanders and field commanders which give bonuses to your fleets and armies. SO it is there in some manner at least.
