JR2000Z Posted March 6, 2001 Share Posted March 6, 2001 I just got 8 a couple weeks ago and absolutly loved it. The song 'Liberi Fatali' was even better then the 'Duel of the Fates'. I heard 7 was the best FF game of them all because of the storyline and it was the best selling video game of all time.But I didnt buy it because I dont think anime characters fit well with RPGs. JR2000Z Posted March 7, 2001 Share Posted March 7, 2001 Alright. 1. Is there an easy way to defeat the Jumbo Cactar guy for a GF? Ive use Levithen which takes about 7,000 HP away but this guy is like 100,000+ HP. Is there a easier way to defeat him then just using Levithen? 2. Does yer level for a character determine how hard an enemy is? IE: the higher level you are, the tougher the character is. Because Im 3/4 finished with the 3d CD for the PC(dont laugh now) Squall is in Lv 43 while the rest is in the 20s .(I heard some peoples are in the 90's during this point.) Deac Posted March 7, 2001 Author Share Posted March 7, 2001 I got 8 for the PC. No-one should dis. At the end of 3, I had Squall at 50. Use the lionheart blade on Cactaur. Adamantine( use Card Mod to get 10 off Sacred's card. Dragon fang( go to the Island closest to Hell and fight the dragons.) Pulse Ammo( Go to Island Closest to Hell, beat a ruby dragon to get and Energy crystal. Refine it to get pulse ammo) Get auras from steel pipes or fury fragments. You'll need them.
